Rumst

Tiburhof

Tiburhof is located in Rumst along the E19 motorway. The castle park is part of the VEN area “De Samenvloeiing Rupel-Dijle-Nete” as a nature interweaving zone. It contains oak-beech forest, species-poor grassland, a pond and borders a stream. The site contains a relatively large number of old trees with cavities. Avantgarden is responsible for the renovation of the historic castle domain and the drafting of a management plan. The plan includes redesigning the entrance with gate and driveway, creating parking pockets, protecting and managing monumental trees, revising path structures and their materialisation, stimulating nature target images and much more.
