In the past, the southern docks in Antwerp were an industrious meeting place. Avantgarden created a design in which this function is restored. In different zones, the square offers opportunities for cultural, social and economic exchange. A central park is now bordered by more intensive activities, as the docks once were. This gives the Zuiderdokken a clear identity with an international spark. Architecture: Avantgarden in collaboration with Sutherland Hussey Harris and Graeme Massie Architects.
